1920’s Steubenville Police Chief, Blaine Dawson Carter and Prohibition Dry Agent, John Cole

Steubenville Police Chief, Blaine D. Carter, was fired in the 1920’s, from his job. Mob rule was hard to overcome in the days of Prohibition. Some people had to take a fall. He was one of them.

Approximately, twenty-five authors participated in the event, which was a great success. A wonderful day for all!

27th ANNUAL BUCKEYE BOOK FAIR IN WOOSTER, OHIO ON NOVEMBER 1ST
The 27th annual Buckeye Book Fair will be held on Saturday, November l, 2014 at Fisher Auditorium in Wooster, Ohio. I was honored with an invitation to attend this event and will be among one hundred Ohio authors, photographers and illustrators to do so. This is Ohio’s largest book fair and should be quite an experience.
